Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.

Excellent stay. Rooms very nice but slightly dated. Clean and decent size. Had a small balcony which was a porch as we were on bottom floor. No complaints. Very nice restaurant although they did mess up my take order twice but burgers and fries were great. Gorgeous location, nice pool, great but tight golf course, bring extra balls. Overall a great stay. Price was excellent!

A really cozy and comfortable hotel with a great location very near PSU. If you're a golfer, even better. We stayed in a suite & loved that it was tucked away in a different building along with all the other suite rooms. It offered us a very quiet nights sleep. The price point is very reasonable considering you are given two full bathrooms per suite, which we were pleasantly surprised to discover. The beds & bedding were very comfortable & the room was clean. We visited during a very busy time of year & our room wasn't ready when we arrived to check in; which was understandable. We took a recommendation from the front desk to dine at their hotel restaurant and it was so delicious. We were compensated with restaurant discount carda for the inconvenience of not having our rooms available at check in & that was very much appreciated. We would definitely stay here again.
